Dhenu shabda

Dhenu is ukaranta streelinga shabda. Its declensions are similar to that of guru shabda - ukaranta pullinga.

1. भानोः आंशं पश्य|       Look at the rays of sun.    भानोः - of sun   आंशं - rays (object)   पश्य - see.
2. सिन्धोः जलम् आनयति|    He/She brings water from the river.  सिन्धोः- from river जलम् - water आनयति- brings
3. मरौ देशे जलं नास्ति|  There is no water in the desert.  मरौ - in the desert   देशे - in the land नास्ति - न अस्ति - is not.
4. शम्भुना राक्षसो हतः | Demon was killed by Shambhu.  शम्भुना - from Shambhu  राक्षसो  - राक्षसः - demon  हतः - was killed
5. तरोः फलं पतितम्|   Fruit fell from the tree. तरोः - from the tree फलं - fruit पतितम् - is fallen
6. सा शत्रुं पश्यसि | She looks at the enemy.   सा - she  शत्रुं - enemy (o)  पश्यसि - sees
