Few more sentences

तं मुनिं पश्य | Look at that sage. स: मुनि: प्रातर्  एव उत्तिष्ठति| That sage wakes up early in the morning.  स: प्रातर् उत्थाय किं करोति? What does he do waking up early?  स: प्रातर् उत्थाय तप: आचरति | After waking up, he does tapas. Now let us look at these sentences in detail. The word पश्य means see, look. It is in imperative tense - आज्ञार्थक - लोट् लकार .  So how do you say "You read a book" in Sanskrit? त्वं पुस्तकं पठ|  If you want to say "You are reading a book" - you use present tense. त्वं पुस्तकं पठसि| Look at another sentence in imperative tense. You drink  water and eat the fruit.  त्वं जलं पिब, फलं च खाद|  Now let us look at second sentence. Here the word  प्रातर् means morning.
